CHAS – (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme)

The description of CHAS is in the title. The scheme, looks at all aspects of health and safety from top to bottom and we are proud to have this awarded for another year.

We have the full status which shows that a thorough assessment has been made by an independent consultant.

RAMS – Risk Assessments and Method Statements

The Health and Safety of our operatives is paramount to a safe working environment. As such we carry out basic RAMS on all our jobs prior to starting, however, if you would like a more detailed set carrying out, these can be done upon acceptance of our quotation.

All our policies are readily available upon request, to give you the customer, the peace of mind prior to us starting any works.

Waste Carriers Licence

Under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 everyone who produces, imports, keeps, stores, transports, treats or disposes of waste must take all reasonable steps to ensure that the waste is managed properly.
Halls Decorators currently have a waste carriers licence until 2020 which can be made readily available upon request. This licence ensures, that we are covered to carry any waste from any job without worry of prosecution.

CSCS – Gold standard

CSCS is the leading skills certification scheme within the UK construction industry.
CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out.
